Tomasz Mro
I'm a Polish-born, UK-based illustrator who loves blending details with expressive and emotional watercolor.
Self-taught by choice, I dropped out of college and never looked back. I learned to trust my instincts, embrace happy accidents, and develop a way of working that feels completely my own. It was the best decision I ever made.
Since then, I've exhibited in galleries across the world, including two solo shows, collaborated with major brands, and sold originals and thousands of prints to collectors worldwide.
Now I want to share my complete step-by-step process with you, including everything I've learned about color, expression and creating a confident and unique watercolor portrait.

The course includes 4 structured modules, 8+ hours of in-depth video lessons and 7 full-length expressive portrait demonstrations. Every lesson builds on the previous one, guiding you from the fundamentals of watercolor to creating expressive portraits in my signature style.
You'll begin by mastering water control, monochrome painting and essential techniques before exploring colour, abstraction and expressive compositions. The course is suitable for artists of all levels and is designed to be completed in order, allowing you to build confidence step by step.

Let me show you how I approach watercolour – from embracing happy accidents and controlling water flow to using colour intentionally to create mood and emotion.
All videos are recorded in Full HD, and you can adjust the playback speed, audio and quality to suit your learning style.
Throughout the course, I use reference photos, visual demonstrations and real-time painting sessions so you can easily follow every stage of the process. You'll also have access to downloadable sketches, reference images and additional resources to help you practise alongside me.
